Manufacturing Standards

Centax A-Z Komplett, Vitamin B Complex active, Vitamin B Complex plus, Vitamin C+Zink, Vitamin D+K and Vitamin D3 are manufactured under Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards, which govern the quality management, hygiene, documentation and testing procedures used throughout production.

Food Supplement Regulation

Centax vitamin products are food supplements (Nahrungsergänzungsmittel) within the meaning of EU Directive 2002/46/EC and the German Food Supplements Ordinance (Nahrungsergänzungsmittelverordnung, NemV). As food supplements, they:

• are intended to supplement the normal diet and are not a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle;
• must not exceed the stated daily intake (Verzehrempfehlung) printed on the packaging — note that Vitamin D3 is formulated for intake every 5th day, not daily;
• should be kept out of the reach of young children; and
• are recommended for use under the guidance of a physician or pharmacist, particularly if pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking other medication (including anticoagulants, relevant to Vitamin D+K's vitamin K content).

Nutrient Labeling

The nutrient content declared for each Centax product — shown as a percentage of the Nutrient Reference Value (%NRV) on every composition table on this site — is calculated in accordance with EU Regulation 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.

Health Claims

Where this website states that a nutrient "contributes to" or "supports" a particular bodily function (for example, that vitamin C and zinc support normal function of the immune system), these are authorized health claims under EU Regulation 1924/2006 on nutrition and health claims made on foods, reproduced from the corresponding claim published for each product on centaxpharma.com.
